Congratulations, Frank Verderame, on Being Named “Lawyer of the Year” by Best Lawyers®!

This is Frank’s 13^th consecutive year being named to The Best Lawyers in America list for his personal injury practice, and we hope you will join us in congratulating him on his latest honor.

Best Lawyers has been compiling lists of the country’s best attorneys for more than 30 years. What sets it apart from other objective ratings services is that it is based entirely on peer review: you cannot buy your way onto the list, nor can you nominate yourself for inclusion. If you are selected, you must continuously earn your spot every year. This is the 25^th edition of The Best Lawyers in America; more than 7.8 million votes were evaluated, and of those 7.8 million, fewer than 60,000 attorneys practicing in 145 areas were selected. Out of those almost 60,000 attorneys, only 183 lawyers were selected for “Lawyer of the Year” in 2019.

About our Lawyer of the Year, Frank Verderame

Frank Verderame is an experienced and passionate litigator, having handled some of the most complex injury cases in Arizona’s history in his 36 years of practicing the law. He is a Certified Specialist in Injury and Wrongful Death by the State Bar of Arizona’s Board of Legal Specialization, and licensed to practice in state and federal courts throughout Arizona.

Frank has earned numerous accolades during his years as a trial lawyer. In 2016, the Arizona Association for Justice named him Trial Lawyer of the Year, and awarded him the Lifetime Advocate for Civil Justice Award; he is also a former President of that organization. He has served on the Board of Governors for the American Association for Justice for the last 20 years, and is a popular speaker at their conferences. Frank is rated AV Preeminent by Martindale-Hubbell, and has been named one of Arizona’s Finest Lawyers by the Arizona’s Finest Lawyers Foundation every year since 2011. He has also been named to Super Lawyers, and has a perfect Avvo rating of 10/10.

Frank is known for his warm but practical approach to the law by his clients, but he is also actively engaged with his community. He sits on the Board of the Boys and Girls Clubs of Scottsdale and on their Foundation, and used to coach little league baseball. He’s also a bit of a daredevil: between the motorcycle, the pilot’s license and the annual horseback rides with Verde Vaqueros, Frank is always on the go.

That energy and zeal has served his clients well over the years, especially in trial settings. He simply doesn’t back down. That is why his latest honor delights us, but doesn’t surprise us. You don’t build a career and a reputation like Frank Verderame’s on doing things halfway: you jump in with both feet and swing for the stands.
