Nick Verderame Honored with AAJ’s Wiedemann & Wysocki Award

Nick Verderame Honored with AAJ’s Wiedemann & Wysocki Award Plattner Verderame, P.C. is proud to announce that Nick Verderame was named a recipient of the American Association for Justice’s (AAJ) 2021 Wiedemann & Wysocki Award. The award is given in acknowledgement of outstanding efforts to promote and support AAJ’s political priorities regarding legislation that supports the civil justice system.

This is the first time Nick Verderame has been a recipient of this award. Frank Verderame, partner with Plattner Verderame, P.C., was also a recipient of the award. This is the second time he was honored with this award.

About award winner Nick Verderame

Nick Verderame joined Plattner Verderame, P.C. in 2016, where he primarily handles personal injury, medical malpractice, and wrongful death claims. He is a member of AAJ’s Oversight Committee, Convention Planning Committee, and Political Action Task Force, as well as the Revitalization Board of Governors for the State of Arizona. In 2019, he was recognized by the American Society of Legal Advocates as one of the Top 40 Under 40 litigation lawyers in Arizona. He routinely offers CLE presentations for AAJ, the Arizona Association for Justice, and the Coconino County Bar, and is a popular speaker for EndDD.org.

About award winner Frank Verderame

Frank Verderame is a founding member of Plattner Verderame, P.C. and a Board Certified Specialist in Personal Injury and Wrongful Death Litigation. He was a 2019 honoree for Best Lawyers’ “Lawyer of the Year” in personal injury litigation, and received the Lifetime Advocate for Civil Justice Award from the Arizona Association for Justice in 2016. Over the past 29 years, he has served in multiple leadership roles for AAJ and other legal organizations.

What does AAJ’s PAC support?

AAJ formed a political action committee (PAC) to support federal candidates who will promote measures that protect and strengthen the civil justice system. It is bipartisan in its support, helping to protect the People’s right to a jury trial.
