Nick Verderame Honored With the Wiedemann & Wysocki Award from the AAJPlattner Verderame, P.C. is proud to announce that Nick Verderame has been honored with the Wiedemann & Wysocki Award by the American Association for Justice (AAJ), the largest trial lawyer advocacy group in the United States committed to preserving the civil justice system. This prestigious award is given annually to AAJ members who have shown outstanding dedication to protecting the civil justice system through political outreach and supporting AAJ’s mission: “To promote a fair and effective justice system and to support the work of attorneys in their efforts to ensure that any person who is injured by the misconduct or negligence of others can obtain justice in America’s courtrooms, even when taking on the most powerful interests.”

The award is named after Fritz Wiedemann and James Anthony Wysocki, two New Orleans attorneys and active AAJ members who tragically died in a plane crash while on an AAJ assignment.  Recipients of this award are recognized for their extraordinary leadership and contributions, continuing the legacy of these dedicated advocates.

About Nick Verderame

Nick is a member of the State Bar of Arizona, the Arizona Association for Justice (formerly the Arizona Trial Lawyers Association) and the American Association for Justice (AAJ). He currently serves on the AAJ’s Political Action Task Force and its Oversight Committee, as well as on the Board of Governors for Revitalization in Arizona. Nick also contributes to the Convention Planning Committee and chairs the Arizona Association for Justice’s Learn at Lunch group, which organizes CLE events throughout the state. Additionally, he is involved with the Legislative Committee, working during the Arizona Legislative session to identify, strengthen, and support legislation that enhances the civil justice system.
