More Takata Air Bags Being Recalled

Eight more automakers have announced that they are recalling vehicles with defective Takata air bags.  This round of recalls, following Takata’s announcement earlier this month that up to 40 million air bags will be declared defective by 2019, accounts for over 12 million air bags.  Today’s recalls include Chrysler, Honda, Toyota, Mazda, Nissan, Subaru, Mitsubishi, and Ferrari. The car manufacturers will send letters to vehicle owners to notify them of the availability of the free replacement.
