Statute of limitations is the amount of the time that someone has by law to bring a claim against anyone else. In Arizona for injury cases, generally it’s two years, but this varies. For some cases, it can be one year. For some cases, you have to give notice within six months. That’s the reason that it’s important to get to an attorney as soon as you realize that you’re injured and may have a claim against someone else, so that that lawyer can figure out how long you have under Arizona law to make your claim.
